Introducing Ginger & Honey

Introducing Ginger & Honey

Ginger & Honey is warm, spiced and softly golden. Ginger heat with honeyed roundness sitting behind it. Lightly sparkling and long, it brings depth to the glass without weighing anything down.

We're guessing Ginger & Honey will be a popular one when the weather turns. Though plenty will find its ginger lift works wonderfully on a warm evening, cutting through a sweet, ice cold highball.

About the ginger and the honey

Whisky and ginger is not a new idea. It is one of the oldest partnerships in British drinking, and it has lasted because it works. Ginger has the heat and the bite to meet whisky halfway rather than backing away from it.

Honey has been keeping whisky company in Scotland for just as long. In hot toddies. In Atholl Brose. In more than one liqueur. It softens without smothering, which is exactly the job we needed it to do.

How to serve it

Tall glass. Fill with ice. One part whisky of choice. Three parts Ginger & Honey. Add an expressed lemon twist or a piece of crystallised ginger (if you're feeling fancy). Stir. Sip. Enjoy with company.

Who it's for

We like to reach for Ginger & Honey when there's food on the table, when the bar is busy, or when the drink needs a bit more presence in the glass.

Whisky pairing

We would point you towards a richer blend. Ginger & Honey has enough character to stand alongside the bolder, smokier bottles that can overwhelm a gentler mixer, which possibly makes it the more gutsy of the four.

And then go exploring

Give Ginger & Honey a go over something delicate and see whether the ginger lifts it or leads it.

But remember, our pairing ideas are only our view.
